Description
Momenté Intimate is a reflection of the intimate moments in our daily lives – not just the intimate physical moments of two lovers. Many of our most intimate moments are when we are alone, with our thoughts, with nature, or even with God.
It has been over two years since I released American Reflection. Many changes have occurred in my life — some good, some very difficult to deal with. As always, the feelings and emotions of this period are reflected in the music. At times the intensity of some of the recording sessions was almost too much. I hope we captured those moments for you — many of them were quite magical.
This project is the result of recording sessions dating from November 2001 to August 2003. Believe me when I say that this was the hardest set of cuts to trim to the resulting ten compositions presented here. Have no fear, the three cuts eliminated will appear on a future release.
Once again, we attempted to preserve the recordings as intact as possible as they poured from the piano during the recording sessions. We have been experimenting to improve the sound with each CD. Technically, this is my best recording to date.
I hope you will enjoy Momenté Intimate. Hope it was worth the wait.
Dedication – This project is dedicated to my grandmother Marie Carr, who passed away this July after 93 years of a full and wonderful life. She will be missed by all who knew her, but never forgotten.
